Texas Tom extends his lead at the top to 103pts over Matty in 2nd with a table topping 95pts this week. With a whopping 85pts, Keith was second highest but still remains in the relegation zone. Wilkee finished 3rd with a credible 82pts. Both Keith and TT benefited from the contribution of Defoe who was clearly the league’s highest scorer with 25pts. As captain, Defoe contributed 50 of Indian Oven’s 85pts.
How does TT maintain his lead? Obviously, he’s not doing this on his own. Some say he gets help from beyond the grave. Well known for his interest in the “spirit” world, TT often uses his alter ego “Mystic Meg” in the chat room. Perhaps he’s communicating with dead people?
Back to normal for this weekend. No extra games, and with a few local derbies, expect lower scores.

It was all very tight this week with top scorer KY Jelly a.k.a. Justin Sanders coming from behind to win with 64pts, just ahead of Mushy (63pts). Jim took 3rd with 60pts, helped yesterday by the Liverpool duo of Gerrard as captain and Mascherano.

This week there was very little movement in the table. Only 3 managed to move up, Mushy and Jim, and surprisingly Wilkee with only 38pts. One of the few to slip down was Chav Tom. He only managed a miserable 23pts, considering you get 22pts just for turning up!
As you noticed Woy won the Manager of the Month Award, but who were the top managers in the Exiles Fantasy League? In September, the honor went to dodger, and in October, the award was shared between Texas Tom and Bastard.
One2Watch – Benitez, no not Rafa, but Birmingham’s on-loan striker Christian Benitez. He scored his first goal yesterday. Even though he’s off to a slow start, he’s looked very sharp for Brum, and he’s likely to play every week. He’s priced at 5.5M, cheap for a forward and he could be this year’s Zaki. Let’s see how he does against us in a couple of weeks.

The International Break comes at a good time for Fulham, I think the team are starting to show some tiredness after the European adventures and a good weekend off for the majority of the players will serve to recharge batteries and also give those returning to fitness a little more time.
Hats off to Gera, Greening and Baird who have stepped up over recent weeks almost to the extent that I have forgotten that Danny Murphy was out injured and not really missed Dickson and I feel it would be harsh to drop anyone.
The forwards have also worked well although numbers are down with Dio’s injury I am hoping that AJ will be back pretty soon, Dempsey has proved a valuable asset with his ability to push forward from midfield and seems to finally be running into form after a quiet start (maybe the Confederations Cup took a lot out of him)
.
But at the quarter mark of the season it already feels like a lot of drama has been packed into such a limited amount of time. Upcoming are the 2 make or break European games, the Man Utd, Spurs and Chelsea league games followed by the FA Cup 3rd Round, time to get the squad in shape, get everyone fit and available and lets step it up for the next few months.
And as I said at the outset this International break is well timed for Fulham.
